Welcome to the Elevate Your Teaching Workshop with Eric Cooper – a basic introduction to the Eric Cooper Somatics Method, at a professional level.

 Course Overview:

• This workshop is limited to 6 participants for an adaptable and personalized experience.
• Detailed documentation and paperwork included.

Class Schedule:

• 4 days, with a minimum of 6 hours of class time each day.
• Total class time: 25 hours.
• Enjoy free time for nature walks and contemplation, plus a 1.5-hour break for lunch.

Learn:

• How to find the root holdings of posture, 9 systemic strategies.
• How those 9 tension strategies boil down to 1 unifying issue.
• Multiple assessment methods including Eric Cooper’s Spherical Breathing Assessment.
• How help your clients find the normally hidden root holdings of their postural distortion.
• To make your teaching more Somatic. Details on more effective cueing of movement.
• Detailed application of Assisted Pandiculation Techniques to all the anatomical vectors of the shoulder.
• A creative approach to client sessions that lets you sidestep the constriction of rigid protocols.
• To enhance your effectiveness as a movement teacher.
• Foster profound transformations in yourself and in your clients.

Hands-On Session:

• Each participant receives a session with Eric Cooper addressing specific patterns as part of the group learning experience.

Zoom Calls:

• One individual Zoom call before the workshop.
• Group Zoom call before the workshop.
• One group follow-up zoom call after the workshop.
  

All-Inclusive Retreat Package:

• Meals
  • All meals will be catered, We will try to accomodate your dietary needs
  • Celebratory graduation meal at a local restaurant (Note: Alcoholic drinks not included)

• Transportation
  • To and from Detroit Metro Airport (DTW)
    Arrive the afternoon/evening before the workshop
    Airport departures the morning after

• Lodging:
  • 5 nights comfortable on-site lodging included
  • If you commute to the workshop $50 discount per night

Payment Details:

• A $100 non-refundable deposit secures your spot upon acceptance
• 50% deposit due two weeks before the workshop
• Balance payment due upon arrival
